Sally S. Wilson

SALLY S. WILSON, 84, of Eaton, OH and formerly of New Lebanon, OH, died Sunday, April 12, 2009 in Kettering, OH. Born on January 27, 1925 in Saylor, KY, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Nettie (Wilson) Short. Sally was a 1944 graduate of the Red Bird Mission School in Beverly, Kentucky and retired in 1965 from Rike - Kumler Department Store in Dayton after 15 years. She had taught in a one room school house in Harlan Co., KY and was a member of the Eastern Star in Farmersville, OH and the United Methodist Church in New Lebanon, OH. Preceded in death by her brothers: John D. Short, Henry Short and Charlie Short, Jr.

Survivors include Husband of 63 years: Oscar Wilson; Son: Larry Wilson, Winter Haven, FL; Daughter & Son-in-law: Sharon (Bill) Peters, Farmersville, OH; Step Mother: Cordelia Short, Straight Creek, KY; Brothers: Carson Short, Toledo, OH; Eugene Short, Saylor, KY; Nelson Short, Straight Creek, KY; Sisters: Bessie Caldwell, Saylor, KY, Nettie Caldwell, Straight Creek, KY, Christine Daniel, Knoxville, TN; Grandson: Bart (Jenifer) Peters, Los Angeles, CA, Granddaughter: Anna Wilson, Babson Park, FL; Great Grandsons: Hudson Peters and Ty Flint. Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be on Thursday, April 16, 2009 - 1:00 p.m. at the Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, OH with Pastor Ron Dafler officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Eastern Star Service at 12:30 p.m.
