Sally Elaine Shellhorn

SALLY ELAINE SHELLHORN, age 80, of New Paris, OH died Friday, November 11, 2005. Born on January 13, 1925 in Gate City, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Jess Andrew & Virgie Lorene (Kilgore) Wright. A resident of New Paris since 1956 she retired in 1987 from Reid Hospital where she had been a nursing assistant in the emergency room for 30 years. Member of the New Paris Church of Christ. Preceded in death by husband: Frank Shellhorn in 1999; daughter: Judith Kay Hensley in 1995 and brothers: Donald Wright in 1932 and Glen Wright in 1985.

Survived by daughters & sons-in-law: Sharon Ann & Wayne Doan and Deborah Sue & Danny Zurwell both of New Paris; Sisters: Betty Griffith of Connersville, Indiana, Jeanette Robinson of Richmond, Indiana, Jean Young of Anaheim, California and Carolyn Sue Frazier of Gratis, Ohio; Brothers: Jack and Harold Wright both of Richmond, Indiana and James Wright of New Paris; special aunt: Christine Kilgore of New Paris and son-in-law: Eddie Hensley of Florida. Grandchildren: Jeannine Rothwell, Renee Allen, Kimberly Getz, Jennifer Hollinger, Frank Allen Hensley, Todd Zurwell and Brian Hensley. Twelve great grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 1:00 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Home -109 West Main Street - New Paris, OH 45347 with Pastor Aaron Levering and Rev. Thomas Gardner officiating. Interment will be in Springlawn Cemetery, New Paris, OH. Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 13, 2005 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
