Ruth M. Hays

Ruth M. (McNair) Hays, 92 formerly of Camden, OH died, Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL. She was born on March 4, 1920 in College Corner, IN and was the daughter of the late Charles Robert & Eliza (McKibben) McNair. Ruth was a 1938 graduate of College Corner High School and attended Miami Jacobs College in Dayton. She was a secretary for Rodeffer Insurance in Camden and the Preble County Farm Bureau. Ruth was a former member of the Farm Bureau Discussion Group #4; the Preble County Farm Bureau; the Fairhaven Community Church and was a member of the First Methodist Church in Bradenton, FL.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis William Hays in 2001; sisters, Gladys Heavenridge in 1990, Roberta Fife in 2001, Virginia Piatt in 2009 and Margaret Miller in 2010.

Ruth is survived by her nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Fairhaven Community Church, 11510 St. Rt. 177, Fairhaven, OH with Dr. Richard Studebaker officiating. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH.
