Ruth K. Rice

Ruth K. Rice, age 98, of Lewisburg, Ohio died Thursday, August 12, 2004 at her residence. Born on January 3, 1906 in Waynesville, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Franklin & Cordelia F. (Burgett) Kellis. Ruth was a 1925 graduate of Waynesville, Ohio High School and retired in 1967 from Frigidaire Corporation in Dayton after 38 years of service. Member of Lewisburg Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star - Ideal Chapter #293. Preceded in death by Brother: Harold Kellis in 1978; Sisters: Lula Bunnell in 1974 and Leona Fischbach in 1978.

Survivors include Husband of 50 years: C. Cyril Rice and several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 16, 2004 at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Michael Pratt officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery - Lewisburg, Ohio. Family will receive friends Sunday, August 15, 2004 from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. with Eastern Star Services 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
