Ruth Irene Brillhart

Ruth Irene Brillhart, 98, of Eaton, OH, died Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton. Ruth was born on August 7, 1915 in West Alexandria (Lanier Township) Ohio the daughter of the late Lawder D. & Ruth O. (Glander) Coffman. She was a 1933 Lanier High School graduate and had lived in Preble County all of her life. Member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Eaton. Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years: James Gordon Brillhart in 1999; sister: Martha L. Cape in 1997.

Survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Kay Lynn & William Snead of Sharonville, OH and son & daughter-in-law, Gary L. & Sally Brillhart of Carlisle, OH; grandchildren, Michael L. & Michele Brillhart of W. Barnstable, MA, Michele L. & Grant Brock of Franklin, OH and William E. & Elizabeth Snead II of Seattle, WA; great grandchildren, Michael A. Stacy of Monroe, OH, Jacob M., Jackson L., Jonathan M. and Cassidi Lee Ann Brillhart of W. Barnstable, MA and Tiffani Brock of Franklin, OH and great great grandson, Colt Stacy of Monroe, OH; niece, Diane Molnar of Washington Crossing, PA and nephew, Dr. Robert Cape of Columbus, OH.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Chris Farmer officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
