Ruth Ann Fisher

Ruth Ann Fisher, age 74, of Columbia City, (Big Cedar Lake) Indiana died Sunday morning, February 9, 2003 at Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City. She was born on April 29, 1928 in Spring Grove, Indiana near Richmond, Indiana the daughter of the late Roy and Hazel (Benham) Cail. Her formative years were spent in the Campbellstown, (Preble County), Ohio area. She was a graduate of Jackson High School and continued her education at Earlham College. In 1951 she was united in marriage to Russell Lowell Fisher. They made their home in Richmond, Indiana until 1956 when they moved to New Castle. In 1968 they moved to Muncie until 1972 when they moved to the Columbia City area. Preceded in death by a Brother: Myron Cail; two Sisters: Frances Campbell and Carolyn Spahr.

Survived by her Husband: R.L. Fisher; Three Brothers: Norman Cail of Colorado, John Cail and William Cail both of Eaton, Ohio.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2003 - 1:00 PM at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, OH with Rev. James Sizelove officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 12, 2003 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
