Ruby L. Buriff

RUBY L. BURIFF, age 96, of Eaton, Ohio, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 at The Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton. Born on April 2, 1913 in Williamsburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Elnathan & Ethel May (Coltrane) Charles. Ruby retired in 1968 as a secretary for Dick Cooper Insurance Agency in Eaton. She was a 1931 Williamsburg High School graduate and had attended Richmond Business College and was a member of the Farm Bureau Discussion Group #12. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Buriff in 1993; twin sister: Reba M. Shaw in 2000.

Survived by daughter & son-in-law: Nedra S. & Karl V. Mielke, Antwerp, Ohio; niece & husband: Sharon J. & Robert C. Barnes, Eaton, Ohio; step grandchildren: Lisa Hagerty, Doug and Steve Mielke; 11 step great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Charles Rinehart officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton. Family will receive friends on Saturday, one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
