Roy Walters

Roy Walters, age 86, of Eaton, Ohio and formerly of Columbus, Ohio died on November 14, 2021.  Born on February 10, 1935 in Floyd County, Kentucky, son of the late, Charlie & Edith (Ward) Walters. 

Roy had worked as a coal miner during his younger years in various mines in Virginia and Kentucky areas then he had worked in various factories in Ohio.  Roy was a founding owner of a plastics company where he worked until his retirement.   

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending warm days on the front porch listening to bluegrass on his old radio.  During his later years he enjoyed reading the bible and listen to the bible on cassette tapes. 

Preceded by wife of 65 years, Virgie (Nelson) Walters; children, Ron Walters and Sheila Adkins.  

Survived by his grandkids, Richard (Kandi) Bryant II and Jennifer Woken; twin brother, Troy Walters; son-in-law, Kevin Adkins; 11 great grandchildren, Cody (Dayna) Becker, Ashlyn Bryant, Lainey Bryant, Grace Kelly, Rachel Kelly, Jackson Kelly, Jauren Shumaker, Hali Woken, Eme Woken and Laiken Woken; 3 great great grandchildren, Ryan Becker, Jesse Becker and Weston Shumaker.
