Roy S. Barger

ROY S. BARGER, age 84, of Eaton, Ohio died Wednesday, February 4 , 2004 at Southview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Born on June 9, 1919 in Youngstown, Ohio, he was the son of the late Roy E. & Hazel Pearl (Engler) Barger. He retired in 1965 from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 215 in Eaton, Ohio. He had lived in the Eaton area since 1970. Preceded in death by Sister: Phyllis S. Lodwick

Survived by his Grandson: Anthony W. Lawson of Eaton, Ohio. One Nephew.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 7, 2004 at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio 45320 with Rev. Lowell T. Spencer officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Zion Hills Cemetery, Columbiana, Ohio on Sunday, February 8, 2004- 2:00 P.M. with Pastor John Bartholomew officiating and full military honors conducted by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.
