Roy Edwin Thompson, Jr.

Roy E. Thompson, Jr., 88, of Donnelsville, OH, died Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. Born on July 10, 1928 in Pickaway County, OH, he was the son of the late Roy E. Sr. & Bessie Marie (Acker) Thompson. Roy worked for many years in the auto industry. He was a W.W. II U.S. Navy veteran and was a member of the VFW in West Milton, OH. Preceded in death by his wife: Myrna Lee (Spitler) Thompson in 1991; siblings, Larry, Jim, Susie, Geneva Graham and Joyce Thompson.

Survived by his sons: Bruce A. Thompson, Keith W. Thompson and Chris Thompson; sisters: Joanne Ayers, Janice Fay McElhaney and Jane Fisher; brothers, Eugene, Tom and Dan Thompson. 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews.

Private inurnment will take place in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg at the convenience of the family. Arrangements Entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, Lewisburg, OH.
