Roy E. Truster

ROY E. TRUSTER, age 98, of Collinsville, Ohio, died on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Ohio. Born on March 5, 1910 in Collinsville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Edgar A. & Bertha M. (Beiser) Truster. Roy was a Dairy & Cattle Farmer since 1923 in Butler County, Ohio. He retired from Miami University as a Custodian for several years. Member of the Collinsville Presbyterian Church. Roy was a member of the American Angus Association, Ohio Angus Association and Miami Valley Angus Association for 50 years. He received the Ohio Angus Association's Distinguished Service Award in 1999. Member of the Ohio Cattlemen's Association and the Butler County Cattlemen's Association. He was a Milford Township 4-H Advisor for several years. Roy faithfully attended and enjoyed the Butler County Fair for 76 years.

Preceded in death by his brother & sister-in-law, Marion Earl & Martha Truster; sister & brother-in-law, Ruth & Chris Brunner.

Survived by his sister, Naomi Moore of Trenton, Ohio; nephews, Tim Brunner of Collinsville, Ohio and Jerry E. Truster of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; niece, Karen Taylor of Collinsville, Ohio; several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2008 at Nein - Barnes Funeral Home - 249 North Main Street - Camden, Ohio with Rev. Mike Gabbard officiating. Interment will be held at Collinsville Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday, May 5, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
