Roy A. Reed, Sr.

Roy A. Reed, Sr. age 71 of Eaton, OH, died Tuesday April 2, 2019 at Maple Gardens in Eaton, OH. Born on July 3, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio he was the son of the late Charles R. & Nan H. (Super) Reed, Sr.  Roy was a 1965 graduate of Jackson High School and was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He had worked at Parker Hannifin for 22 years and was a salesman for Walker Toyota in Centerville, Ohio. Member of American Legion Post 215 of Eaton, Life Member of the Vietnam Veterans Association and the D.A.V. He loved hunting, bowling, fishing and classic cars.

Roy is survived by his wife: Nancy (Hilbert) Reed; children: Roy & Tiffinnie Reed, Jr.; Dan & Beth Reed; Matt & Cheryl Reed; Angie Reed and Katrina Reed & Chris Ritter; brother: Charlie Reed and sister Cindy Garrett; 6 grandchildren: Matthew R. Reed, Tyler L. Reed, Mackenzie A. Santana, Tanner D. Reed, Calvin A. Reed and Monica C. Reed; 1 great grandchild: Matheus L. Santana. 

Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio. A celebration of Roy’s life service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
