Rowena Kouts

E. Rowena Kouts, 91 of Lewisburg, Ohio died Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at her residence. Born on May 20, 1931 in Lewisburg, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harry E. & Lucille E. (Mahan) Brock. Rowena retired in 1987 after 30 years at Inland, Division of GM in Dayton and was a longtime member of Lewisburg First United Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by her Husband: Ralph D. Kouts in 1987; Daughter: Dorothy Ann Keckler in 2019; Sisters: Edith Brock in 1929 and Mary E. Spraggins in 2000; Brother: Dr. Richard E. Brock in 2011; Son-in-law: David E. Keckler in 2012; Granddaughter: Barbara Irene Keckler in 1984.

Survived by Daughter and Son-in-law: Beverly (Stoney) League; Grandchildren: Curtis Keckler, Stacey Jo (Roger) Sorg, Joshua Marburger, Heather (Scott) Hess, Joseph (Elizabeth) Keckler. Great Grandchildren: Lilian, Rose, Dustin, Jacob, Violet, Taylor, Alysia, Abagail, Ashlynn, Autum, Owen, Ethin, Alyssa, Emma, Zoey, William. Great Great Grandchildren: Emerson, Malachi, Aurora, Wyatt and Lyanna.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
