Rosemond E. Murphy

Rosemond E. Murphy, 95, of Eaton, OH, died, Saturday, December 24, 2016 in Eaton. Born on March 15, 1921 in Richmond, IN, she was the daughter of the late Bernard & Rebecca (Kaucher) Lahman. Mrs. Murphy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Eaton and was a former member of Omicron Sigma Sorority. She served as a volunteer for Ronald McDonald House in Fort Myers, FL.

Preceded in death by her Husband: William J. Murphy in 1996; Sister: Betty Peffley in 1995.

Survived by Daughter & Son-in-law: Rosalind Ann & Rob Jamison; Sons and Daughters-in-law: William Jay & Carol Murphy and D. Michael & Karen Murphy; Grandchildren: Marilyn Gates, Jay Murphy, Kathy Willis, Shawn Murphy and Megan Jamison; Great Grandchildren: Cody and Trevor Gates, Cameron & Sarah Willis, Sophia, Tess and Grace Murphy.

Graveside Service was held December 27, 2016 in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, OH.

Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 in First Presbyterian Church, 123 W. Decatur St., Eaton, OH with Pastor John Skelly officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, Eaton, OH.
