Rosemary J. Lybrook

ROSEMARY J. LYBROOK, age 89, of Oxford, OH and formerly of College Corner, Preble Co., OH died Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the Knolls of Oxford where she has been a resident since 2003. Born on June 26, 1921 in Israel Twp., Preble County, OH, she was the daughter of the late Arthur H. & Annabel (Brown) Morton. She was a 1939 Dixon High School graduate and received her Cosmetology license in 1960. A member of the Fairhaven United Methodist Church where she was the church organist, sang in the choir and was a member of the United Methodist Women. Member of the Preble County Farm Bureau Discussion Group #4.

Preceded in death by Brothers: Elden Morton in 1919, Arthur “Ki” Morton in 1996; Sister: V. Bernice Glander in 1958.

Survived by her Husband of 69 years: Gordon R. Lybrook whom she married on August 29, 1941; Daughter & Son-in-law: Mardyne (John) Brower, Camden, OH; Granddaughter: Susan Rene (Jay) Jacobs, Western Springs, IL; Great Grandchildren: Nicholas, Emily and Alison Jacobs.

Private Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family with Rev. George Copus officiating. Interment will be held in Fairhaven Cemetery. No public calling.
