Ronald D. Ward, Jr

Ronald Duane Ward, Jr., 66, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Thursday, February 22, 2024 at his residence. He was born on July 10, 1957 in Osaka, Japan, son of the late Ronald Duane and Lois Ann (MacCuaig) Ward, Sr.  

A native of Washington State, Ron was a U.S. Army veteran and proudly served his country before settling in the Miami Valley in 1978. Ron worked as an Industrial Maintenance Technician at NCR and Sears/Kmart both in Dayton, Ohio. A lover of all animals, Ron was always willing to feed those in need, whether it was the local cat or the neighborhood racoon or opossum.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Judy Kay Ward in 2021; and his sister, Kristine Marie Ward in 1979.

Survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald D. III and Ana Ward, Jason Ward and Michael and Jennifer Ward; brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Julie Ward; grandchildren, Andrew, Eli, Abigail, Kitonna, Paisley and Noah Ward; nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home- Lewisburg, Ohio.
