Ronald L. "Ron" Delk

Ronald L. “Ron” Delk, age 78 of New Paris, Ohio died Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Maple Gardens in Eaton, Ohio. Born on October 31, 1946, in Richmond, Indiana, he was the son of the late George W. & Phyllis I. (Knox) Delk and stepfather: Herbert Turner. Ron was a 1964 Tri-Village graduate, U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, worked at T & J Auto Body Shop and Part Owner & Operator of New Paris Auto Truck & Body. Member of New Paris American Legion.

Preceded in death by his wife: Lorena Scott Delk in 2024 and former wife: Marlene Robinson Delk in 2015. Stepchildren: Debra K. (Wallace) Gilland in 2021 and Michael H. Wallace in 2007.

Survived by: Son: George R. & Debra L. (Bane) Delk of Richmond, IN. Daughter: Phyllis A. (Delk) & Clinton A. Manlove of New Paris, OH. Stepson: Larry M. Wallace of Tenn. Brother: Kenneth E. & Teresa Delk of New Paris, OH. Sister: Linda A. Wood of New Madison, OH. Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 3:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Whalen officiating.
