Ron L. Dannaker

Ron L. Dannaker, age 78, of New Paris, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born on May 5, 1946 in Urbana, Ohio, son of the late William & Betty (Shafer) Dannaker.

He graduated from Springfield High school in 1964. 

Ron proudly served in the US Air Force from 1965 to 1968.

Ron retired after many years working at various places that manufactured car parts. He loved to go hunting, hiking and fishing. He was also an avid pool player. 

Preceded by his son, Robert Dannaker in 2019; sister, Connie Swift.

Survived by his wife of 54 years, Sally Dannaker; son, Brian Dannaker; grandchildren, Austin Dannaker, Lexi Dannaker, Saturn Ferry, Noa Dannaker, Aiden Dannaker, Lochlan Dannaker; great granddaughter, Phoebe Ferry. 

Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main St., New Paris, Ohio with Pastor Steve Whalon officiating. Family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
