Roger A. Cole

ROGER A. COLE, 76, of Eaton, Ohio died Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the Gade Nursing Home in Greenville, Ohio. He was born on January 5, 1934 in Eaton, Ohio son of the late, Arthur William and Mary Ruth (Carico) Cole. A 1952 graduate of Eaton High School, Roger was retired from the Inland Manufacturing division of General Motors where he was a machinist. He was a member of the Ohio National Guard for over 31 years, the Bolivar Lodge # 82 F & AM of Eaton, the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton and the Eagles Lodge # 2202 of Eaton. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Donald E. Cole and his sisters, Lucille I. Reynolds, Charlotte M. Renner and Darlene A. Wehrley.

Survived by his wife of 55 years, Margie H. (Bunn) Cole; sons, Rocky Allen Cole of Monroe, Ohio and Randy Lee Cole of Centerville, Ohio; grandson, Jeff (Abbey) Cole of Alexandria, Kentucky and great grandchildren, Kaleb and Brooklyn Cole.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Jack Moore officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
