Rodney Lunsford

Rodney Lunsford, 62 of Lewisburg, OH passed away at his home surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 after a battle with Cancer. Born on April 20, 1958 in Berea, Madison Co., KY, son of the late, Gilbert & Ruth (Harrison) Lunsford. Graduated in 1976 from Stivers High School in Dayton, OH. Rodney retired from the Iron Workers Union Local 290 in Tipp City. Rodney was an avid Fisherman and enjoyed many trips with his friends to Canada and all over the USA. 

Preceded by Son, Eric Lunsford in 2011. 

Survived by Wife of 42 years, Genene Lunsford; Son, Dale (Carrie) Lunsford; Brothers, Gary Lee, Merle, Russel, Gilbert “Red” and Charles “Timmy” Lunsford; Sister, Debbie (Jimmy) Adcock; Mother-in-law, Bette Hill; Sister-in-law, Pamela Key; Grandchildren, Cameron, Brooke, Sophia, Ava, Davis and Gage; numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. 

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, May 4, 2020 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Rev. Justin Wiegand. Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. prior to the Service.
