Roberta A. Swindler

Roberta A. "Bobbie" Swindler, 82, of West Alexandria, Ohio, died Monday, November 5, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Bobbie was born on July 23, 1930 in Dayton, daughter of the late Andrew & Alma (Daniels) Bruns. She was retired from Baxter Healthcare in Eaton, Ohio and was a former member of the Preble County Horseman Association. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Vernon Eugene Swindler in 2008; brothers, Charles and Joseph Bruns and sister, Ruth Brodnick.

Bobbie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline & Darrell Wickerham of Huber Heights, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, Mark & Barbara Swindler of West Alexandria; grandchildren, Robert & Heidi Hartley, Angela & Dean Lilly, Chad Michael Swindler & Danielle Elizabeth Swindler; great grandchildren, Brianna, Emma & Noah Hartley and D.J., Calvin & Madison Lilly; nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Sugar Grove Cemetery, St. Rt. 503 N., West Alexandria, Ohio with Rev. J. Thomas Fitzsimmons officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce St., Lewisburg, Ohio.
