Robert N. White

ROBERT N. "BOB" WHITE, age 68 of Eaton, Ohio, died Thursday, July 16, 2009 at his residence. Born on July 24, 1941 in San Antonio, Texas, he was the son of the late Robert & Maurine (Franklin) White. Robert graduated in 1960 from Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio, Texas. Robert graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from University of Texas in 1965. Robert proudly served in the U.S. Airforce, Reserves during the Vietnam War. Robert had worked at Reynold's & Reynold's in Dayton, Ohio for 21 years and was Vice President of Human Resources & Administration for 8 years with Hobart Brothers in Troy, Ohio. Member of the First Presbyterian Church in Eaton, Ohio. Robert enjoyed signing in the church choir and the Eaton Community Chorus. Member of the Masonic Lodge in Vandalia, Ohio. Robert loved to go boating, enjoyed carpenter work and loved his grandchildren dearly.

Preceded in death by his brothers, James Harrison White and Craig Thornton.

Survived by his wife of 42 years, Alysone White of Eaton, Ohio; daughters & son-in-law, Nicole Hafer of Zanesville, Ohio and Heather & Ryan Guthrie of London, Ohio; grandchildren, Mia Hafer, Olivia Hafer, Kirsten Dotson and Myles Gutherie; many loving friends.

Memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, July 20, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church, 123 West Decatur Street, Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating with US Flag presented by the Preble County Honor Guard. There will be a dinner reception following the service at the First Presbyterian Church, 123 West Decatur Street, Eaton, Ohio for family and friends.
