ROBERT L. BALLINGER, age 70, of Camden, OH died Saturday, May 6, 2006 at McCullough Hyde Hospital in Oxford, OH. Born on April 13, 1936 in Rockcastle County KY, he was the son of the late Eddie Lee and Lona (Abney) Ballinger. He was a self employed Masonry Brick Contractor. Preceded in death by his twin brother Roy and other brothers: Virgil, Leonard, Casper and Hobart. Sisters: Edith and Mary Lou.

Survived by his wife of 50 years: Alice E. (Root) Ballinger. Children: Roberta Moore of Camden, OH, Robert “Bob” & Cheryl Ballinger of Camden, OH, John Balllinger of Camden, OH, Diana & William Hayes of Gratis, OH, Sandy & Jim Elliott of Eaton, OH, Edward & Tami Ballinger of Camden, OH, Phillip & Paula Ballinger of Brookville, IN, Tonya Smith of Trenton, OH. Brothers: Mitchell (Lydia) Ballinger of Richmond, IN, Charles (Betty) Ballinger of Eaton, OH, Marion Ballinger of Hamilton, OH, Dennis Ballinger of Camden, OH. Sisters-in-law: Hazel Ballinger of Ross, OH, Thelma Ballinger of Orlando, KY. Half sisters: Belle, Dorothy, Linda, Betty and Evaline. Half brothers: Bobby and Billy. Grandchildren: Jason & Crystal Moore, Nathan & Megan Moore, Karri, Jerri & Benjamin Ballinger, Brian & Brandi Ballinger, Stephanie, Karen, Angela & Brittany Hayes, Shane Elliott, Matthew & Breona Elliott, Emma & Abbey Ballinger, Joshua, Jacob & Aaron Ballinger, Colton Smith. Great grandchildren: Zoey Moore, Matthew & Andrew Gambrell, Dylan Brashears.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 9, 2006 – 11:00 a.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church - 35 North Liberty Street - Camden, OH, with the Rev Trevor Bridgeford officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday, May 8, 2006 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church. Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery at Camden, OH.
