Robert A. Hoskins

Robert A. Hoskins age 81 of Middletown, Ohio passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, OH. Born on November 16, 1942, he was the son of the late, Arthur & Dorothy (Lane) Hoskins.

Robert was a Gratis High School graduate and served in the U.S. Navy. He had worked at AK Steel in Middletown for 30 years. Member Middletown DAV. He had played basketball in several leagues, many years in Softball Leagues and Bowling Leagues.

Preceded by his wife: Edy Hoskins in 1991; daughters: Michele Hoskins in 2021 and Tiffany Hoskins in 2017, brothers, John W. Hoskins in 2023, and Larry Wayne Hoskins in 2017; sisters, Beverly A. Brandon and Mildred I. Hoskins in 1966.

 Survived by sons: Matt (Cindy) Hoskins and Manuel Hoskins both of Middletown, OH; brother: Darrell E. (Lori) Hoskins of West Alexandria, OH; sisters: Phyllis (Charles) Gabbard of West Elkton, OH and Betty Jo (Mark) Hamilton of Middletown, Ohio; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday October 7, 2024, at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio.
