Robert H. Maupin

Robert H. Maupin age 79 of New Paris, OH died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Reid Health in Richmond, IN. Born on April 27, 1937 in Richmond, Kentucky he was the son of the late Julian & Raye Geneva (Beasley) Maupin. Robert moved to Ohio in 1941 and was a 1955 graduate of Jefferson High School in New Paris, OH. He served in the Ohio National Guard for 8 years and retired from Conrail. Preceded in death by a brother: William J. Maupin and sister: Norma Mae Welks.

Survived by his wife of 39 years: Marthel L. (Elleman) Maupin.

Family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home 109 West Main Street New Paris, OH and the funeral service will be 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Myrel Ballinger officiating.
