Robert Charles Abbitt

Robert Charles “Rob” Abbitt, age 58, of New Paris, Ohio died on December 31, 2020 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born on May 1, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Ronald Lewis & Judith (Degenhart) Abbitt.  

He had worked with the Millwrights Local Union 1241 in Columbus, Ohio for many years. 

Preceded by his Brother, Ronald Joseph “Joey” Abbitt; Mother, Judith Penn; Father, Ronald Lewis Abbitt.

Survived by his Ex-Wife, Lorena (Delk) Scott; Son, Joshua Scott; Step Mother, Nancy Abbitt; Brother, Michael “Tom” (Dee) Abbitt; Sisters; Sherry (Duane) Mickley and Julie (Scott) Grady; Step Sisters, Angie (Troy) Fenner and Martina “Marty” Bellamy. Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. 

Memorial Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Inurnment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio.
