Robert C. Conley

ROBERT C. “BOB” CONLEY, age 72, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Born on April 17, 1935 in Mousie, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Everett and Darlene (Hicks) Conley. Bob retired in 2003 after 43 years with Lewisburg Container Company at Lewisburg, Ohio. He Loved God, the University of Kentucky “Wild Cats”, his family, fishing, gardening, friends and church family. Preceded in death by his brothers and sisters: Aaron Conley, Zelma Shepard, Luther Conley, James Conley, Paul Conley, Coet Conley, Helen Miller and Bessie Conley.

Survivors include wife of 48 years: Pauline (Hicks) Conley; daughter & son-in-law: Teresa & Robert Long of West Manchester, Ohio; sisters: Sara Lou Campbell of Mousie, Kentucky and Rebecca Patton of Wayland, Kentucky; grandchildren: Samuel Long of Eaton, Ohio and Elisabeth Long of West Manchester, Ohio; nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services Wednesday 12:00 p.m. (Noon) July 11, 2007 at the First Missionary Baptist Church, 608 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor George Pennington officiating. Family will receive friends on Wednesday July 11, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery at Lewisburg, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home - 411 N. Commerce St. - Lewisburg, Ohio.
