Robert C. Burtch

Robert C. Burtch, 82 of New Paris, OH, died Monday, July 7, 2008 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN. Born on May 20, 1926 in Richmond, IN he was the son of the late Fred E. & Gladys M. (Pierson) Burtch. Robert was a 1944 Jefferson Township High School graduate. He had worked at Avco and Natco both of Richmond, IN, served on New Paris Village Council for several years, active with the Jefferson Township Boosters and a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of New Paris. Preceded in death by his wife of 46 years: Phyllis Ann (King) Burtch in 1993; brother: Frederick E. Burtch during WW II in 1944; sister: Marilyn R. Holzapfel in 2008.

Survivors include Sons & daughters-in-law: Robert M. & Sharon Kay Burtch and Jeffrey J. & Debbie Burtch both of New Paris, OH. Brother: James M. (Martha) Burtch of New Paris. 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM - Friday, July 11, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Dennis Andrews officiating. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH. Family will receive friends on Friday, July 11, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
