Robert Alan Thompson

Robert "Bobby" Alan Thompson, age 58, of Eaton, Ohio passed away Monday, June 16, 2014. Bobby was born on July 9, 1955 in Hamilton, Ohio, son of the late, Robert Paul & Hazel Maxine (Roe) Thompson. Bobby graduated from Eaton High School in 1974. Bobby had worked as a cook for TA, Travel Centers of America in Eaton, Ohio. Bobby also had worked at the Red Mule for many years and as a car detailer for Route 35 Auto Sales. He was an avid card player at Dales Pool Hall. Bobby proudly served in the US Army. Preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Alvin Thompson in 1978.

Survived by his daughter, Eva C. Thompson and her fiancé, Will Collins of Eaton, Ohio; grandchildren, Anna and Malakai; step children, Amber (Chris) Fogle of Eaton, Ohio and Andrew (Jennifer) Hawk of Lafayette, Indiana; brother & sister-in-law, Daniel Paul & Teresa H. Thompson of Eaton, Ohio; aunt, Evelyn Jean Thomas of Fairfield, Ohio; numerous cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Wayne Morrison officiating. Family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home in Eaton, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made in care of, Eva C.
