Robert E. Adamson

Robert E. Adamson age 82 of New Paris, Monroe Township, Ohio died Friday morning September 27, 2024 at his residence. Robert was born on January 15, 1942, in Osborn, Greene County, Ohio, the son of the late Tommy & Verda (Cooper) Adamson. He was a retired Meat Cutter/Butcher at Folkie Packing Company, Superior Beef, and King Kold. He had also been a Truck Driver. Member of the Local 430 Meat Cutters and Teamsters # 937 of Dayton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

 Preceded in death by daughter: Tina Christian in 2021; Brothers: Donald Adamson, Ernest Adamson, Roger Adamson and Thomas Adamson; Sister: Peggy Bors.

 Survived by his wife of 46 years: Lila R. (Thompson) Adamson; Children: Robert Adamson, Jr. of Xenia, OH; Carol Hunt of Eaton, OH; Tammy Young of Oxford, OH; Kathy Doat of West Alexandria, OH; Michael Adamson of Camden, OH; Robin Adamson of Greenville, OH and Ruth Rector of New Lebanon, OH. Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren: Brother: Jack Adamson of Medway, OH.
