Robert A. Tye

ROBERT A. TYE, 71, of Richmond, IN died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at his residence. Born on May 3, 1944 in Richmond, IN he was the son of the late Roy C. & Clara (Femyer) Tye. Robert was a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran and retired in 2008 after 43 years of service at Belden Corporation in Richmond. He was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion Post 65 of Richmond for several years and the Belden 25 year club. Preceded in death by his brother: Raymond Kelley and sister: Diana Butler.

Survived by his wife: Debbie L. (Rose) Tye; son: Roger (Julie) Tye of Chicago, IL; daughter: Melanie (Yvonne Riddle) of Winchester, IN; grandchildren: Madison Tye Jones, Collin Tye and Quincy Tye; sisters: Sandy Barron of Panama City, FL; Norma (Grady) Jefferson of Centerville, IN; brother: Steve (Laurel) Tye of Sebring, FL; Madison's father and close friend: Darian Jones and close friend John Thorpe.
