Richard Settles, Jr.

Richard Settles, Jr., 75 of Camden, OH died Saturday, September 5, 2015 at his residence. Born on September 14, 1939 in Madison County, KY, he was the son he late Richard & Dorothy (McQueen) Settles, Sr. Richard retired in 2000 after 30 years of service with Dayton Walther Corporation. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and target shooting. Preceded in death by a son: Michael Settles in 2010; brothers: Ronald Settles in 2007; Tony Settles 1985 sister: Patty Byrd in 2010.

Survived by his wife of 55 years: Wanda Lee (Perry) Settles; sons: John & Jill Settles of Middletown, OH and Keith Settles of Camden, OH; daughter-in-law: Billie Settles of Somerville, OH; granddaughter: Christina (Richie) Woods of Somerville, OH and great grandson: Richard Earl Woods VI; great granddaughter: Cheyenne Woods; brother: Roy Settles of Kentucky and sister: Sandy (Danny) Suggs of Eaton, OH.

Family will receive friends Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home – 249 North Main Street – Camden, OH. The funeral services will be held Thursday 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery – Gratis, OH.
