Richard Lawrence Cooper

Richard ('Dick') Lawrence Cooper of Jupiter, Florida and formerly of Eaton, Ohio, died April 15th, 2017 at age 96. Dick was a U.S. Army World War II Veteran, devoted husband to the late Marjorie Vivian Cooper and beloved father to Dr. Teresa Ponn of Manchester, New Hampshire, Doug Davisson of Flowery Branch, Georgia and the late Todd Cooper of Eaton, Ohio. He is survived by his loving grandchildren and great grandchildren, who will forever remember him as the kindest, most generous man they knew.

Dick had an unparalleled ability to put others at ease, either with a touching comment or a funny joke. He had a sharp wit and sense of humor that stayed with him until his final day. His presence will be missed by the friends and family he made everywhere he went.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 in Mound Hill Cemetery (New Part) in Eaton. Military Honors will be provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eaton Community Schools, 600 Hillcrest Dr., Eaton, OH 45320. Please indicate in Memory of Dick Cooper.
