Richard E. Thomas, Jr.

Richard E. Thomas, Jr. 47 of New Madison, Ohio and formerly of New Paris, Ohio died Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Born on November 19, 1973 in Richmond, Indiana and was a 1992 National Trail High School graduate.  Richard had worked as an Auto Mechanic at Tudor’s Garage in New Paris and at Wal-Mart, K-Mart and Richmond State Hospital. 

Preceded in death by grandparents: Patricia Bottoms in 1990; Rolland Hall in 2007; Doris Thomas in 2000; Robert Thomas in 1976; and nephew: Malaki Burgis in 1997.

Survivors: father & mother: Richard Eugene & Cynthia Joan (Hall) Thomas, Sr.; sisters: Teresa Lynn Thomas of New Madison, OH and Kathy Jo Richards of Eldorado, OH; nieces: Kirstyn Richards, Sylvia Richards and Majestic Thomas; nephew: Jacob Richards; great nephew: Dominic Wetherbee; step-grandfather: James Bottoms; aunts, uncles, cousins and best friend: Rodney Reynolds and family and many other friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
