Richard Aden Steinberger

RICHARD ADEN STEINBERGER, 76, of New Paris, Ohio, died at his home on Tuesday November 1, 2005. He was born on January 30, 1929 in Piqua, Ohio, the son of the late Clydus “C.O.” & Mildred K. (Ginn) Steinberger. Richard was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean conflict. He retired after 40 years as a Brick Mason and was a member of the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craftsman. Member of the First United Presbyterian Church of New Paris, Ohio, American Legion Post #360 of New Paris, Ohio, Preble County Historical Society, and Life member of the National Rifle Association.

Survivors include wife of 55 years: Joan E. (Melody) Steinberger; daughter & son-in-law: April Ann & Chris Abrams of Wilmington, Ohio; son: Eric Allen Steinberger of New Paris, Ohio; Two grandchildren: Dustin Steinberger and Andrea Steinberger both of New Paris, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday - November 5, 2005 at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, Ohio with Dr. William P. Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Spring Lawn Cemetery - New Paris, Ohio. Friends may call on Friday - November 4, 2005 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
