Richard A. Schlenk

Richard A. Schlenk, 77, of Lewisburg, OH, died, Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Born on April 4, 1939 in Hamilton, OH, he was the son of the late Henry C. & Amanda (Cameron) Schlenk. Richard retired after 47 years with Holland Trucking in Dayton. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran, member of the Teamsters Local 957 in Dayton, VFW of West Carrollton, American Legion of Greenville and a member of Visitation Catholic Church in Eaton.

Preceded in death by his sister: Viola Wilson Young; brothers: Fritz Schlenk, Larry Schlenk, John Wilson and Dan Schlenk.

Survived by his wife of 42 years: Betty J. (Miller) Schlenk; sons: Richard A. (Jean) Schlenk, Jr., Jim (Regina) Davidson, Michael (Lynn) Davidson and Gary Hickey; daughters: Sandy (Jeff) Baker and Lisa Kemp (Brad Diehl); 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, Nieces and nephews.

Private Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, OH. No Public Calling. Arrangements Entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, Lewisburg, OH.
