Richard A. Sauerland

Richard A. Sauerland, 87, of New Paris, OH, died Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at The Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton, OH. Born on January 31, 1929 in Hamilton County, OH son of the late, Raymond & Isabelle (Bibee) Sauerland. Richard was a Jefferson Township Farmer for many years.

Preceded in death by Wife of 63 years, Evelyn F. Sauerland in 2013; Grandson: Greg Eugene Toschlog; Brothers, Russell Sauerland and Harold Sauerland.

Survived by Children, Pam (Gene) Toschlog of Richmond, IN, Ricky (Peggy) Sauerland of New Paris, OH and Robin (Dean) Wigger of New Paris, OH; Sister, Evelyn (Jim) Booker of Okeana, OH; 8 Grandchildren, Doug (Lori) Toschlog, Scott (Stephanie) Toschlog, Terry Toschlog, Kimberly (Steve) Wurtsbaugh, Rachel (Will) Abner, William (Tom Nelson) Sauerland, Wayne Huffman and Alicia (Joe) Brockman; 11 Great Grandchildren. Nieces, Nephews and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 12, 2016 form 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St., New Paris, OH with the funeral service to be held 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. James Sizelove officiating. Interment will be held at Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH.
