Rhonda L. Johnson

Rhonda L. Johnson age 62 of Eaton, Ohio, died Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Maple Gardens in Eaton, Ohio. Born on April 22, 1958 in Middletown, Ohio she was the daughter of James G. & Betty L. (Johnson) Shepherd. Rhonda was a 1976 Preble Shawnee graduate. Rhonda was a truck driver for Swift Trucking, and she attended the Gospel Light Baptist Church in Eaton. Preceded in death by father: James G. Shepherd in 2009 & brother-in-law Mark Taulbee died in 2012. 

Survived by mother: Betty Lou (Johnson) Shepherd; brothers: Paul Roy Shepherd of Eaton, Ohio, Wade "Kevin" Shepherd  of Aberdeen, Ohio; Nathaniel "Keith" & Terri Shepherd of Eaton, Ohio; Sisters: Patricia M. Hall of West Alexandria, Ohio and Elizabeth E. Taulbee of Morgantown, Kentucky. Numerous nieces and nephews. 

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Ben Myers officiating. Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery at Gratis, Ohio.  A special thank you to the staff at Maple Gardens for their excellent care that was given to Rhonda during her time at Maple Gardens.
