Reva Jean Gabbard

REVA JEAN (SMITH) GABBARD, age 73, of Jacksonburg, Ohio, died on Monday, February 26, 2007 in Middletown, Ohio. Born on April 17, 1933 in Morris Fork, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late D. C. & Ozzie (Burton) Smith. She owned and operated Reva’s Salon in the 1960's and 1970's in Jacksonburg, Ohio. She retired in 1994 after working for over 30 years at Aeronca Inc. in Middletown, Ohio. She attended many churches in the Butler County area and her favorites were the Salvation Army Churches. She is preceded in death by her husband: Kenton Custer Gabbard in 1991.

She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law: Mike & Vickie Gabbard of Wayne Township, Bulter County, Ohio, Jerry Lee & Judy Gabbard of Middletown, Ohio, and Gary & Jodie Gabbard of Jacksonburg, Ohio; sisters: Jeanette Smith of Jacksonburg, Ohio and Leona Eckhardt of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren: John, James, Lara, and Garrett; great grandchildren: Trista, Ryan, Lily Ann, Amber, Tyler, and Robbie; great great grandchildren: Tristen; various nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2007 at Nein - Barnes Funeral Home - 249 North Main Street - Camden, Ohio with Pastor Mike Gabbard officiating . Interment will be held in Elk Creek in Madison Township, Butler County, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Friday, March 2, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
