Reva I. Hecathorn

REVA I. HECATHORN , age 82 of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Saturday, July 29, 2006 at the Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton, Ohio. Born on May 10, 1924 in Harrison Township, Preble County, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Arlie E. & Ruth C. (Albert) Utz. She was a 1942 graduate of Lewisburg Union High School. In 2001 she retired from Jo Ann Fabrics where she had been a clerk. She had also worked for Singer Sewing Machine. She was a member of the Brookville Grace Brethren Church in Brookville, Ohio. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: Earl D. Hecathorn in 1998; son: Ronald D. in 1947 and brother: Harold E. Utz in 1945.

She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law: Pamela K. & Louis G. Becker of Lewisburg and Deborah J. & Kenneth E. Blount of Auburn, Indiana; sister: Naomi Price of Lewisburg; Grandchildren: Andrew E. Blount, Philip A. & Amy M. Blount and John R. Blount, Kevin R. & Amy F. Becker and Paula J. & Christopher A. McKinney.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor Henry Mallon officiating. Interment will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
