Reva Grace Hartman

REVA GRACE (HALL) HARTMAN, age 81, of Oxford, OH died Friday, December 24, 2010 at McCullough Hyde Hospital in Oxford, Ohio. Born on December 17, 1929 in Winston, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Robert & Nellie (Blackwell) Hall. Reva retired in 1996 after 20 years with Kmart in Oxford, Ohio. She also had worked 7 years with JCPenny as a Store Clerk. Member of Somerville United Presbyterian Church and served as Clerk to the Session for 22 years. Reva always believed that family was most important.

Preceded by husband of 42 years: Paul Warren Hartman in 1989; sisters, Annie Hall and Gladys Wilson; brothers, Evan “Sonny” Hall, Luther Hall and Marvin Hall.

Survived by son & daughter-in-law, Eugene “Gene” Ray & April Hartman of Oxford, Ohio; sisters & brother-in-law, Margie Geeting of Eaton, Ohio, Betty Ashman of Middletown, Ohio, Lucy Hedger of Hollansburg, Ohio and Fannie & Harry Cole of Mesa, Arizona; grandchildren, Shawny, Cody and Ryan; great grandchild, Alexas.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Somerville United Presbyterian Church, Walnut Street, Somerville, Ohio with Rev. Edward J. Brown Officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior at the church. Interment will be held in Somerville Cemetery.
