Reetta Mae Higgs

ReETTA MAE HIGGS, age 90, formerly of New Lebanon, OH died Saturday December 28, 2002 at the Englewood Manor. Born on September 21, 1912 in Darke County OH, she was the daughter of the late Frank H. and Sarah Elizabeth (Wiley) Pickens. Preceded in death by her husband: George T. Higgs in 1999.

Survived by her Daughter and Son-in-law: Darla J. & John Brohas of Brookville, OH. Brother-in-law and his wife: Gilbert & Helen Higgs of Richmond, IN. Sisters-in-law: Doris Eichhorn of Mt Dora, FL, and Maxine Emrick of New Madison, OH. Grandsons and their wives: Brian L. & Deborah Petry of Springboro, OH, Matthew G. & Dee Petry of Chelsea, MI. Grandchildren: Caleb L., Joshua J. & Brendan George Petry.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday December 30, 2002 - 2:00P.M. at the Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, OH with the Rev. LaDonna Clary officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH. Family will receive friends on Monday one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
