"Red" Billy M. Stapleton

"Red" Billy M. Stapleton, age 81, of New Paris, Ohio died on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Rosebud Village in Richmond, IN. Born on June 25, 1934 in Castlewood, Russell County, Virginia he was the son of the late Henry & Nola (Salyers) Stapleton. Billy was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired in 1995 after 38 years of service at Westvaco in Eaton, OH. He was a member of the New Paris American Legion post # 360. Preceded in death by his son: Billy H. Stapleton in 1981.

Survivors include his daughters: LaWanna Loxley of Eaton, OH; Angelia York of Jamestown, TN and Judy French of New Paris, OH; son: John J. Stapleton of Eaton, OH; sisters: Shirley Garland of Tennessee and Christine Kilgore of New Paris, OH; 14 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Barnes Funeral Home 109 West Main Street New Paris, Ohio. Funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the funeral home.
