Rebecca L. Ebersole

Rebecca "Becky" L. Ebersole, 59, of Eldorado, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016, after bravely battling cancer for over 3 years. She was born June 10, 1956 in Warren, OH, the daughter of Francis & Lynne (Darr) Fuller, and moved to West Manchester in 1969. She was a 1975 graduate of National Trail High School, New Paris, OH.

Becky was a teacher's aide for over 10 years for students with special needs at Eaton, National Trail, & ESC. She was one of the original members of the North Central Rescue Squad, served with the Eldorado and West Manchester Fire Department, on the Eldorado council, and enjoyed bowling for several years. Perhaps her most favorite activity was helping with the 4-H Rabbit club, which she did for many years. In 2015, one of the Rabbit buildings at the Preble County Fairgrounds was dedicated in her honor, and will be known as the Becky Ebersole building. She also loved spending time gardening and being outdoors.

Survivors include her husband, Brian Ebersole; children: Melinda Burr, Eaton; Justin Washington, Greenville; Eric (Krystal) Washington, New Madison; Kami (Sean) Schooley, New Lebanon; grandchildren: Logan Deeter, Emma & Kennedy Burr, Layne & Grace Washington, Kayla & Kayson Washington; 3 fur babies: Deek, Daisy & Lilly. She is also survived by sisters & brothers: Cheryl (Kent) West, Jeff (Mary) Harmon, Renee' (Rodger) Mart, Roberta (Keith) Mackey, James (Lisa) Harmon; father-in-law David Ebersole, and numerous nieces & nephews.

Becky was preceded in death by her mother & father, Lynne & Wayne Harmon and mother-in-law Carolyn Ebersole.

Visitation for family & friends will be 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM on Friday, April 8, 2016, at the Bussard-Barnes-Vaniman Funeral Home, 311 N. Main St., Eldorado. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 9th at the Funeral Home with Pastor Dane Driver officiating. Burial will follow at Wares Chapel Cemetery, Foos Rd., West Manchester, Oh.

Memorials may be made to the family via the Bussard-Barnes-Vaniman Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
