Reba May Shaw

REBA MAY SHAW, age 86 formerly of Aukerman Street, Eaton, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 22, 2000 at Greenbrier Nursing Center in Eaton after an extended illness. Born on April 2, 1913 in Williamsburg, Wayne County, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Elnathan & Ethel (Coltrane) Charles. She was a 1931 graduate of Williamsburg High School; graduate of the Indiana Business College in Richmond, IN; served on several organizations in Dixon Township, and had worked in the Preble County Extension Agency and Probate Court office; Member of Farm Bureau Discussion Group #4; former Sunday School Superintendent for St. Paul United Methodist Church in Eaton; served as Welcome Wagon Hostess and an Avon Sales Representative in the Eaton area; member of Concord United Church of Christ. Preceded in death by Husband: Arthur Brower Shaw on October 21, 1997.

Barnes, Lewisburg, OH; Great Grandchildren: Matthew B. & Christina D. Barnes, Lewisburg, OH; Logan P. & Lorin E. Barnes, Lewisburg, OH; Twin Sister: Ruby L. Buriff, Eaton, OH; Niece & Husband: Nedra S. & Karl Mielke, St. Mary’s, OH and several cousins.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 27, 2000 - 11:00 a.m. at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Richard VanTine & Pastor Philip Raines officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton. Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 26, 2000 from 4 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
