Randall Gene Marcum

RANDALL G. “RANDY” MARCUM, age 46 of Somerville, OH died suddenly Saturday, November 24, 2007 in Vanceburg, Kentucky. He was born on August 22, 1961 in Hamilton, Ohio and was employed at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where he was in building maintenance and service for the past 10 years. He attended the Somerville United Presbyterian Church and enjoyed working on cars. He is preceded in death by his father: Philip Ronald “Curly” Marcum in 1982.

He is survived by his companion and friend, Cassiemae Davis of Somerville; mother, Joanne Marie (Hartman) Marcum of Somerville; son, Phillip Randall Marcum of Mississippi; step-daughter, Clarissa Marie Miller of Oxford, Ohio; brothers and sisters-in-law, Philip Ronald “Ron” and Katie Marcum, Jr., Robert Wesley “Wes” and Sue Ann Marcum and Ricky Lee “Rick” and Barbara Marcum all of Somerville; niece and nephews, Emily, Robbie, Ryan, Justin and Nicholas; aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at the Somerville United Presbyterian Church, Walnut Street, Somerville, Ohio with Rev. James Hartman and Rev. George Walden officiating. Interment will be held in Somerville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church.
