Ramon E. Miller

Ramon E. Miller, age 81, of New Paris, Ohio, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN. Born on July 14, 1927 in Montgomery County, OH he was the son of the late Herbert S. & Cleda I. (Ryder) Miller. Ramon was a U.S. Navy WW II veteran serving with the Seabee's. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge #2202 of Eaton, OH; American Legion Post #360 of New Paris, OH; Moose Lodge #329 of Greenville, OH; Navy Seabee Veterans of America - Cincinnati, OH; Life Member of AMVets Post #726 of Eldorado, OH and VFW Post # 4161 of Arcanum, OH. He was an avid fan for the Ohio State Buckeye, Cincinnati Bengals, NASCAR and Jeff Gordon. Preceded in death by brothers: Loren Miller, Robert Miller and Roland "Fuzz" Miller.

Miller & Kim Pendergast of Fairborn, OH; Sisters: Dorothy Sommer of Dayton, OH; T. Jane Brown of Marco Island, FL and Marilyn F. Hittle of Greenville, OH; Brother: Dale Miller of Arcanum, OH; Grandchildren: Todd & Sue Hanish, Troy & Amy Hanish, Crystal McClure & Chris Brewer, Kyle & Ashley Miller, Amber Miller & Garrett Shillingburg, Brittany Miller and Joshua Miller. 8 Great Grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, OH. with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
