Ralph Seals

RALPH SEALS, 88, of Somerville, Ohio died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Vancrest Healthcare Center in Eaton, OH. He was born on April 12, 1925 in Montgomery County, OH son of the late Harmon H. & Pearl (Kincer) Seals. Ralph retired in 1993 from the Ramada Inn in Cincinnati, OH where he was a Maintenance Supervisor. He was a bee keeper for many years, and an avid wood worker. He was a member of the West Elkton United Methodist Church; member and past Board member of the Preble County Council on Aging; Life Member and Past Master of the Masonic Lodge # 159 F & AM in Camden, OH where he was instrumental in starting the monthly breakfasts for the club; member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton and numerous other Masonic Order's.

He is preceded in death by his wife Allie Katherine (Doan) Seals in 2005; brothers, Carl and Clarence Junior Seals; sister, Ruby Seals and granddaughter, Kelly Ward Lancaster.

Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Verna Jean (Angie) and Donald Ward of Westerville, OH and Fort Myers, FL; sons and daughters-in-law, Dwight D. and Sherry Seals of Cincinnati, OH, James E. and Carolyn Seals of Eaton, OH and Calvin S. Seals of Winterville, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Verlen Eugene and Daisy Seals of Hamilton, OH; sisters, Eva Brown and Pearl Bowles both of Hamilton, OH; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 16, 2013 at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, 249 North Main Street, Camden, Ohio with Masonic and Ring Service held at 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 17, 2013 with Pastor Sandra Apgar officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden. Family will also receive friends on Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
