Ralph F. Earman

RALPH F. EARMAN, age 87, formerly of Nation Avenue, Eaton, Ohio, died Wednesday May 10, 2006 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton, Ohio. Born on September 7, 1918 in Eaton, Ohio, he was the son of the late John W. and Lucy C. (Hart) Earman. He was a 1938 Eaton High School graduate; served during WW II in the U. S. Navy; member of the St Paul United Methodist Church in Eaton; American Legion Post 215 at Eaton; Bolivar Lodge # 82 F. & A. M. in Eaton and Eaton Country Club. Ralph was a Washington Township farmer and retired in 1986 after 23 years with the US Department of Agriculture as a Federal Meat Inspector. Preceded in death by his wife of 49 years: Frances B. “Fran” Earman in 1996. Sisters: Ruth Miriam Earman in 2000 and Grace Mildred Beson in 2001. Brothers: Alan Earman in 1910 and Stanley Earman in 1948.

Survived by son and daughter-in-law: Steven W. & Lori Earman of Centerville, Ohio. Daughter and son-in-law: Cathy & Gary Leuszler of London, Ohio. Grandchildren: Tia Lynn & Nate Walbridge, J. Ryan Earman, Michael Weston Earman and Ashley Nichole Earman. Step grandchildren: Bill McKinley & Molly McKinley. Nieces, nephews and cousins. Special friend: Elizabeth Collins of Eaton, Ohio.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2006 - 11:00 a.m. at Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Steve Cann officiating. Interment will be held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery at Eaton, Ohio with Full Military Honors by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 13, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
