Ralph Edward Bartels

RALPH E. BARTELS, age 91 of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at the VA Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Born on December 22, 1913 in Dayton, Ohio he was the son of the late Edward and Anna(Miller) Bartels. He retired in 1973 from GM-Delco Division- in Dayton, Ohio where he was a tool and die maker. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran. He is preceded in death by his wife: Catherine E. Bartels in 2004; sister: Ellen Martin and two brothers: Harold and Albert Bartels.

Survived by Daughters & Sons-in-law: Lorena M. & Laren E. Lakes of Lewisburg, Ohio and Deborah L. & Walter R. Harding of Arlington, Indiana; Step-Daughter & Son-in-law: Betty E. and William J. Agee, Sr. of Lewisburg, Ohio; Brother: Eugene Bartels of Arizona; Grandchildren: Quimby (Paul) Williams, Bonnie(Steve)Hall, Derrick(Mary) Garner, Machell (Jerry) Robertson, Merinda (Chris) Deaton, Lucretia(Kenneth) Pursifull, and Nicole Harding; Great Grandchildren: Timothy & Christopher Williams, Samuel, Jessica and Tyler Robertson, Zachery, Steven and Chloe Deaton , Breanna Garner and Janessa Busburg and Four Step Grandchildren.

Graveside Service with full military honors will be held at 1:00 P.M. (Ohio Time) on Monday, July 11, 2005 at Roselawn Cemetery with Pastors Rick and Ruth Ramey officiating.
